The main body of the website includes the sections on Domestic Violence, Sexual Harassment, Sexual Assault, Trafficking, International Law, Advocacy Tools, NGO Resources and Research Gateways. The website must reflect changes and amendments to laws, new policies, new research and new advocacy strategies and must be a complete and current resource. The statistics could be used in different ways and at different levels: lobbing, educational programs, publications, combating against VAW, Trafficking in Human beings

    Purpose:

    For enforcement of reforms and improvement of human rights protection through development and implementation of an effective model for strategic litigation. This model should include: selection of the cases based on the facts of violations of Constitutional and international norms from various sources, including organizations providing with legal services, NGOs and individual lawyers, community organizations; as well as public advocacy tools such as organizing a press conference, hold meetings, organizing discussions will be used in each case; pursuing the cases and submit to the European Court of Human Rights. The grantee should cooperate with both various local organizations and international and foreign organizations, which have positive experience in organizing strategic litigation. The entire project will be governed by the established Board. The Board will be responsible for: decisions on issues and cases to be taken to strategic litigation; develop and adopt the principal approaches for strategic litigation; selection of the lawyers to conduct the strategic litigation; coordinating advocacy for legal changes; liaising with media, international and local authorities. During the project implementation the responsibilities of BARA are: to coordinate project activities in accordance with the decisions of the Board; to coordinate and support the activities of the lawyers’ group; develop and submit by the approval of the Board the forms of presentation of legal justifications and to mobilize the experts of various law organizations, in case of need. BARA upon the decision of the Board will organize consulting with international experts and ensure their expert conclusion; in case of necessity coordinate preparation the case/s for the submission to the European Court of Human Rights, in cooperation with the project lawyers. The scope of the project includes but is not limited to the following areas: access to justice and fair trial; free media and access to information; cases of torture; environmental sphere. As a result of the project at least 15 cases of strategic importance will be developed and submitted to the European Court Human Rights

The aims of the project will be reached through the following objectives: to collect information on the refugees in Gegharkunik region by taking pictures in 42 communities where refugees live, describing the overall conditions of those communities, gathering information on refugees, on the needs of the communities, on families with special needs, on success stories related to the aspect of adaptability among refugees; to systematize, edit the collected information and to prepare photo-stories; to hold 4 discussion-exhibitions in Yerevan, Gavar, Chambarak and Vardenis where Mass Media, governmental bodies, donor organizations, NGOs and other interested groups will take part; to dispose the electronic and published photos to Mass Media free of charge and to publish it in internet site of applicant organization; to broadcast TV program entitled “Refugees in Gegharkunik region after 15 years” on regional TV and Public TV; to collaborate with Bar Association of Armenia’s Free Legal Aid Center and organize advocacy seminars in the refugee populated villages
