They will do this via creation of learning materials, sample lesson plans and training sessions for specialists of National Institute of Education, school vice-principals and teachers from partner schools. At the end of the project the working group will develop a package of recommendations based on their observations, monitoring and application of developed materials and submit that to the Ministry of Education and National Institute of Education to influence standard-based education policy via improvement and updating education quality and effectiveness

In the framework of the project it is planned to organize three-months trainings for three NGOs working with children “Armenian Association of Hemophilia” (6 participants), “Autism and Recovery Way” NGO (6 participants) and “Patients with Cystic Fibrosis and Parents” (6 participants) and the parents of these children. In total there will be 24 participants from NGO sector trained during the project. Before the training, project experts will carry out focused interviews with parents of those children to reveal real cases of main violations of child patients. The results of the interviews shall be analyzed and the main legislation procedural gaps shall be revealed and presented to strategic litigation lawyers during a special session of the planned training. The analyzed case studies shall be presented to OSIAF Armenia as well. The developed handouts for the training will be widely disseminated among relevant organizations, institutions, hospitals and special schools in Yerevan and in the regions of Armenia

During the project the organization will: provide legal counseling and advocacy to the delinquent children at least 4 cases for advocacy during the project; organize 2 trainings for 10 policemen about violence and delinquency; prepare and broadcast social adds and advertisements on local TV and radio stations about child protection help-line; prepare 2 talk-shows and 4 programs to be broadcast on local TV channels (GALA and SHIRAK) on CAN (child abuse and neglect), CSA (child sexual abuse) and juvenile delinquency topics; provide the following services to child victims and their parents: psychological counseling and therapy (individual and family); social work (social interviewing, preparing social story, home visits, assessment of needs); medical counseling if necessary; case management and follow-up; advocacy of child- victims. The project will also investigate transparency of state budget spending and the effectiveness and transparency of its anti-economic projects. The investigative stories will also cover the issues of transparency, accountability and effectiveness of the organizations funded in the framework of the adopted State Anti-Crisis Action Plan to carry out anti-crisis projects in the regions of Armenia. The project targets most vulnerable population, including but not limited to children, women and old people. During the project implementation, 33 investigative articles and 220 news stories covering the above mentioned issues will be published in two languages in www.hetq.am online journal and in “Hetq” weekly newspaper with 4000 copies. 1100 copies will be distributed with “Hetq” newspaper and 2900 inserts will be disseminated free of charge in Yerevan and in the regions of Armenia. The project also plans to organize 6 round-table discussions to highlight the cases and issues revealed during the project
