The information platform will be also used for organizing live interviews and multi-format live discussions with engagement of all stakeholders, widely disseminating the content among the other media, partners organizations and social networks.     Purpose:

    The purpose of the project is to develop the capacities of journalists from different regions of Armenia, who will put their skills to use and create high-quality media content. In this regard, Asparez, Journalists’ Club will recruit journalists from regional media organizations and hold advanced training sessions in media literacy, investigative journalism, and fact-checking methods and tools. The training will also provide deeper insight into the prevalent problems in the respective regions. In the framework of this initiative, the beneficiary journalists will be able to create their own media products during seven months, covering issues, such as the impact of mining on nearby communities, rural poverty, domestic violence in rural areas, the problems of near-border communities after the 44-day war in 2020, difficulties facing people with disabilities in remote and rural areas, etc. The grant is awarded within the “European Media Facility in Armenia – Building Sustainable and Professional Media” project funded by EU and implemented by the consortium of DW Akademie (lead organization), BBC Media Action, OSF-Armenia, Investigative Journalists, NGO (Hetq.am) and Factor Information Center.
