    For filling the gap of lack of objective and unbiased information in Armenia via opening an open/alternative information resource. The site will serve as a virtual information/news resource, which would give free access to all election-related information. It will strive to gradually become a full-fledged mass media means and will translate into an online publication aimed at providing the reader with objective information and thorough analysis of the situation. It will also aim at involving the civil society and giving it not only an opportunity to access balanced coverage and analysis of events, but also to participate in discussions and express their opinions. The categories of the site will include news, media digest, regions, interviews, legislation, sociological surveys, monitoring, elections calendar, information about political parties and candidates, as well as an interactive part – blogs and forums, students, on-line voting, TV and radio, photo and video materials, links. This project is co-financed by UNDP for the amount of $24.000. The first transfer will be made by UNDP in the amount of $24.000 by the end of December, 2006. OSI AFA will transfer $25,000 upon receiving the narrative and financial reports from the implementing organization

    For production and broadcasting of two types of TV debate shows. The format of the first type of the TV debates is a debate between the invited government official(s) and the public, represented by the facilitator-journalist, invited/independent experts and audience consisting of civil society representatives. The second type of TV debates will address the political alternatives presented to the voter in Armenia, and will essentially be a debate with invited representatives of one of the major parties running for the parliament and the public, which, as in the first type, will be represented by a facilitator-journalist, invited/independent experts and audience consisting of civil society representatives. The project is co-financed by UNDP for the amount of $29,000. The first transfer will be made by UNDP in the amount of $29,000 by the end of December, 2006. The OSIAF Armenia will transfer the rest ($25.000) upon receiving the narrative and financial reports from the grantee organization. Advisory Board formed from Civil Society and Media representatives of UNDP and OSIAF Armenia shall oversee unbiased non-partisan nature of programs

During the course of fulfillment of the project the Chamber of Advocates in the initial stages should present the idea of the project to the local and international organizations, Legal department of Yerevan State University and AUA, as well as to human rights organizations and media. The Chamber of Advocates should organize open discussions of the developed strategies and present the final version of it to all the interested parties, organizations and individuals

    For the following purposes: to organize a workshop on promotion of Open Source Policy in Armenia in the period of October 30 - November 1, 2006. Prior to the workshop, the NGO will carry out an open source survey to identify the level of use of open source software by public organizations and will present the results at the conference. An open source policy handbook will be published as a result of the workshop. Armenian IT policy makers, managers of educational institutions and civil society representatives will be the main participants of the workshop. International experts from Bulgaria, Macedonia, Estonia and other Eastern European countries will present their countries’ experience of promotion of open source policy

As a result, the WRC will develop recommendations for Armenian Government and National Assembly to take relevant measures to combat domestic violence in Armenia. Experts and government representatives from Poland, Latvia, Estonia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Kyrgyzstan, Croatia, Czech Republic, Sweden, Holland, Austria, France, Greece and United States will participate and present their experiences during the event.
