During the grant period the following activities will be conducted: to monitor national machineries and policy developments on violence against women and include that information on the website; to gather and solicit information from NGOs, academic institutions and government agencies in the country to include on the website; to coordinate and potentially collaborate with on-line information resources in the region; through the mentoring component, organize discussion forums, round tables to address new developments in country or the region; to select information, links and draft narrative to include on the site; to consult with NWP and MAHR for a final determination of information to put up on the site. The main body of the website includes the sections on Domestic Violence, Sexual Harassment, Sexual Assault, Trafficking, International Law, Advocacy Tools, NGO Resources and Research Gateways. The website must reflect changes and amendments to laws, new policies, new research and new advocacy strategies and must be a complete and current resource. The statistics could be used in different ways and at different levels: lobbing, educational programs, publications, combating against VAW, Trafficking in Human beings

    For: development and expansion of the free legal aid services provided by the organization to vulnerable groups of population in Yerevan and in six marzes (Ararat, Lori, Kotayk, Gegharqunik, Syunik and Gyumri); for organization of trainings for lawyers to work in marzes; implementation of regular monitoring; carrying out analysis of the applied cases during the project. The Board will be responsible for: decisions on issues and cases to be taken to strategic litigation; develop and adopt the principal approaches for strategic litigation; selection of the lawyers to conduct the strategic litigation; coordinating advocacy for legal changes; liaising with media, international and local authorities. During the project implementation the responsibilities of BARA are: to coordinate project activities in accordance with the decisions of the Board; to coordinate and support the activities of the lawyers’ group; develop and submit by the approval of the Board the forms of presentation of legal justifications and to mobilize the experts of various law organizations, in case of need. BARA upon the decision of the Board will organize consulting with international experts and ensure their expert conclusion; in case of necessity coordinate preparation the case/s for the submission to the European Court of Human Rights, in cooperation with the project lawyers. The scope of the project includes but is not limited to the following areas: access to justice and fair trial; free media and access to information; cases of torture; environmental sphere. As a result of the project at least 15 cases of strategic importance will be developed and submitted to the European Court Human Rights
